Landscape, Wildlife and Conservation

Conservation photography combines nature photography with the proactive, issue-oriented approach of documentary photography as an agent for protecting nature and improving the biosphere and natural environment while expanding public awareness of issues and stimulating remedial action.

Landscape photography shows spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic including the presence of nature but also onman-made features or disturbances.

Wildlife photography documents various forms of wildlife in their natural habitat and requires sound technical skills, such as being able to expose correctly and good field craft abiltiies.

Event photography involves the photography of guests and occurrences at any event or occasion including weddings, christenings, naming ceremonies, parties, birthdays, formals, dances, ceremonies, funerals, engagements, award ceremonies, among many others.

Portrait photography or portraiture is photography of a person or group of people that captures the personality of a subject by using effective lighting, backdrops, and poses. A portrait picture might be artistic, or it might be clinical, as part of a medical study. Frequently, portraits are commissioned for special occasions, such as weddings or school events. Portraits can serve many purposes, from usage on a personal Web site to display in the lobby of a business.
